VertexPoint Solutions was founded by Dan Gentry to help families, businesses, and community organizations prepare for emergencies in a practical, realistic, and approachable way.
Preparedness does not have to be fear-based. It does not have to be complicated. And it should never be built around generic plans that look good on paper but fail when people actually need them.
VPS exists to help people understand their risks, close planning gaps, improve communication, and build emergency plans that make sense in the real world.

VertexPoint Solutions helps clients build practical preparedness and safety plans in three core areas:
Family Preparedness
Helping households think through communication, evacuation, shelter-in-place planning, emergency supplies, medical readiness, and family decision-making before a crisis happens.
Business Readiness
Helping businesses and organizations review emergency procedures, staff communication, continuity basics, facility risks, accountability processes, and leadership decision-making during disruptions.
Community Preparedness
Helping community groups, nonprofits, civic organizations, houses of worship, and local groups strengthen preparedness, communication, volunteer coordination, and response planning.
Our Approach
Preparedness should be useful, understandable, and realistic.
VertexPoint Solutions focuses on three simple principles:
Readiness
Identify risks, close gaps, and prepare people before something happens.
Response
Build clear procedures, communication plans, and decision-making processes so people know what to do when time matters.
Recovery
Plan for what comes next, so families, businesses, and organizations can stabilize, recover, and move forward after a disruption.
Practical. Calm. No Fear-Based Nonsense.
VertexPoint Solutions is not about panic, paranoia, or selling people things they do not need.
The goal is to help people and organizations become more capable, more confident, and better prepared through simple, practical steps.
Preparedness is not about predicting every possible emergency. It is about building enough structure, communication, and awareness that people can make better decisions when normal routines break down.

Whether you are a family looking to build a basic emergency plan, a business trying to improve readiness, or a community organization that wants practical guidance, VertexPoint Solutions can help you identify the next right steps.
